Trio of Mirrors Alcove Wardrobe
For this project, the client wanted us to replace some old IKEA units which had deteriorated quite significantly and didn’t make full use of the available space. She was very keen that we absolutely maximised the available space within the alcove so we went for a backless design with very minimal structure. On the left side, we have adjustable shelving using the hole and pin system. The right side is mostly open, reusing a side mounted, forward facing clothing rail from the original IKEA units.
The wardrobe doors are minimal Shaker style design with a 6mm bevelled mirror set within the recess. The symmetry of the mirrors make the wardrobes look clean and elegant. This is complemented by the client’s choice of ‘Strong White’ by Farrow and Ball. Everything is finished off by some clean and simple knobs from Ironmongery Direct.
